BYE-BYE-2020!!! Or VALEDICTORY TO 2020
Finally we are done with 2020, let’s hope & pray that 2021 will be normal year for all of us, we all must have said this statement so many times to our self & others. We all have plans & resolutions ready for 2021 as what we had for 2020.
Before we welcome 2021 we need to valedictory 2020 with gratitude. I think our generation was very lucky to witness this historic year. 2020 has been 360 degree learning for me as a counsellor/mother moreover as a human being. Parenting concepts values/strengths underwent tremendous change. I am sure if not same but some changes did occur in your lives too. Hence we cannot ignore or forget/delete- 2020!!! So I am sharing my realization with learning and hope it helps/create awareness….among parents/teachers including my students.
As Charles Darwin said that…” IT’S NOT THE STRONGEST OF THE SPECIES THAT SURVIVE
NOR THE MOST INTELLIGENT THAT SURVIVES
IT IS THE ONE THAT IS THE MOST ADAPTABLE TO CHANGE’’
I realized this hence would insist that, let’s make our children strong and prepare them for LIFE then JOBS in 2021. We all witnessed this, jobs didn’t help but life skills did help us to survive the pandemic. We need to teach our children survival skills or life skills. It’s never too late.
PROTECT ENVIORNMENT TO PROTECT MANKIND-We as a parent/educators/teachers need to educate children & inculcate a protective attitude towards environment. We need to teach them how nature works-if we destroy nature, nature destroys mankind-as pandemic is live example. Let’s empower our children by taking closer to nature than create fear or anxiety about calamities/worlds end etc. Let them experience blue sky/clean water/rich mountains & great forests. Nature adapts us if we leave nature alone/non disturbed. We witnessed this during lockdown period we were all in and animals were out on street/sky was blue/air more pure & water more clean and less used. So let’s all together teach children to save nature/forest & animals.
Also it was painful to realize that we (our generation) has messed up and our children should do the correction or cleaning. Let’s understand what 2020 taught us and implement learning in 2021. Let’s share this with world & people around you. Let’s welcome 2021 with new parenting style, let’s spend more time with family/ live in present/think rationally/teach humility or being human to children because life is precious and beautiful. Let’s ALL WELCOM 2021…with gratitude & compassion.
