The birthday of Lord Krishna is celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm, on this Janmashtami day, in India.
On Thursday, 18 of August 2022, the students of Sane Guruji Medium celebrated Janmashtami. A splendidly colorful program was organized by the children and staff of the school; where students presented songs, dance performances and a short role play.
The students were overjoyed when they broke the ‘Dahi Handi’ (pot of butter & curd) to grace this occasion. Dahi Handi is the most ancient joyful game played and celebrated, for the birth of Krishna in Janmashtami.
