Art and crafts help young children explore and express their emotions. It also develops courage and a healthy self-esteem. Creating art and making crafts involves using their hands, holding art materials like pencils, pastels, brushes, or manipulation of materials like clay or mud. All these help in developing muscles that strengthen and support fine-motor skills. Hand-eye coordination is also improved with the practice of art and craft.
